In collaboration with other colleagues, I usually offer consultancy services to industry and government agencies through the Fundació Bosch i Gimpera, the research transfer office of the University of Barcelona. These include:
Delivery of training courses
Petrography services and geochemistry (elemental analysis, stable and radiogenic isotopes, etc.)
Drill core analysis
Petrophysics (thermal properties, porosity and permeability, acoustic/elastic properties, density, etc.)
Fluid inclusion microthermometry
Geological mapping, basin analysis and characterization of outcrop analogues
Quantification of fracture networks and fracture permeability
Numerical modelling of geological processes
Creation and use of geological databases
Exploration of energy and mineral resources
Acquisition, building and analysis of virtual outcrop models with UAV photogrammetry
